Adtile is an independent ad delivery network. We partner with third party website publishers and mobile app developers to serve ads on their sites and in their apps. Adtile provides information to publishers and developers about how you use and engage with their sites and apps and/or how sites or apps are performing across different handsets, including but not limited to tracking conversions across multiple advertising networks. Adtile obtains this information as a result of data being sent via a Software Development Kit (SDK) embedded by the publisher or developer in the website or app that you access or use. The ads are customized to their users’ interests and geographic locations, which we infer from information we collect about how those users interact with sites and apps that have partnered with Adtile, called “targeting advertising.” Our partnering publishers and developers are able to provide content-rich services that are more relevant to their users, often using the advertising revenues they generate to offer their services for free or at a subsidized cost. Each publisher and developer is responsible for obtaining all applicable consents to enable Adtile to collect information from your device.
Adtile is determined to protect your privacy, and takes reasonable security measures to protect the Personal Information that has been sent to us. However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications means, we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information, during transmission through the Internet or while otherwise in our care, will be absolutely secure from intrusion by others, such as hackers. As no electronic communication is ever fully secure or error free, you should take special care in deciding what information you send us.
When you view an Adtile ad on a site or app which uses our Services, we may collect information about your device or the ad that you have viewed. This information does not enable us to determine your individual identity.
Information about your device: We may collect some or all of the following information about your device: device type (e.g. smartphone, tablet, etc.), operating system (e.g. iOS, Android, Windows, etc.), network provider, Internet (IP) address, which mobile browser you use (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), the carrier user ID (a number uniquely allocated to you by your network provider), platform, SDK version, timestamp, API key (identifier for application), application version, iOS Identifier for Advertising, iOS Identifier for Vendors, Media Access Control (MAC) address, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), Model, manufacture and OS version of device, session start/stop time, locale (specific location where a given language is spoken), time zone, and network status such as WiFi, the geo-location of your device (using GPS or other geo-location data) and the unique device identifier of your mobile device (a number uniquely allocated to your device by your device manufacturer).
Information about the ad you have viewed: We also collect some or all of the following information about the ad you have viewed: the content type of the ad (what the ad is about, e.g. games, finance, entertainment, news); the ad type (e.g. whether the ad is a text, image, or video based ad); where the ad is being served (e.g. the address of the website on which the ad appears); and certain information about post-click activity in relation to the ad (e.g. whether you proceed to purchase the product or service advertised).
Information collected from your accessing the Adtile Site: We collect information passively using servers that automatically record information created by your use of the Services. This information may include your IP address, browser type, the referring domain, pages visited and order in which those pages were visited, the amount of time spent on particular screens, the dates and times of your requests, platform type, your mobile carrier, device and application identifiers, and search terms. Other actions, such as interactions with our Site, applications and advertisements, may also be collected. We may use this information to determine the frequency with which our users visit various parts of our Site, to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer the Services, and to conduct research on customer demographics, interests and behavior based information provided to us. Such research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis.
Clear GIFs: We may use “clear GIFs”, also known as Web beacons or pixel tags, and similar technologies in our Site or in our communications with you to allow us to evaluate how you are navigating our Site. A clear GIF is typically a one-pixel, transparent or visible image, located on a Web page or in an email, which is retrieved from a remote site on the Internet enabling the verification of your viewing or receipt of a Web page or message.
Log Files: We may use “log files” to track actions occurring on sites and collect data including your browser types, IP address, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date and time stamp, click data and types of advertisements viewed.
On occasion, our partnering mobile publishers or app developers may also disclose to us information they have separately collected about you so that we can improve the relevance of the ads we serve on their behalf. They do this in accordance with their own specific privacy policies and subject to their own applicable legal requirements. We do not use the information they provide to us for any purpose other than serving you with ads on their behalf.
Adtile may offer advertising solutions to clients that include the collection of voluntary information from you as part of an ad. All of the information that you voluntarily provide will be collected by Adtile and forwarded directly to the relevant client and will be governed by that client’s privacy policies in place.
Notice to California Residents: A California resident who has provided personal information to a business with whom he/she has established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes ("California customer") is entitled to request information about whether the business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. In general, if the business has made such a disclosure of personal information, upon receipt of a request by a California customer, the business is required to provide a list of all third parties to whom personal information was disclosed in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of personal information that were disclosed.
Adtile has elected to not disclose Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
You may also send us Personal Information if you are seeking a business relationship with us, request additional information from us, or if you apply for a job position with us. We collect this Personal Information from your interaction with our Site or from emails you have sent us. We use this Personal Information only to contact you or to respond to your inquiry. We store this Personal Information for a reasonable time for record keeping purposes. Personal Information submitted by you is usually deleted in the normal course of business.
Adtile may use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and develop new Services to provide to you. Adtile may also use the information to display advertising customized to your inferred interests, preferences and locations, and to perform analysis aimed at improving our Services and technologies. The information we collect also helps us to provide filtering options for publishers and developers to manage ads appearing on their sites and in their apps, and to provide targeting options for advertisers. This helps our publishers and developer clients, for example, not to present you with ads that you have already seen, and helps our advertiser clients serve ads that are most likely to be of interest to you.
Aggregate Statistics: Adtile may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information and statistics of the information we collect from your visits to ads produced by the Adtile Network, publicly, with partnering sites and apps, and/or with our publisher, developer, and advertiser clients. The aggregate statistics may include the measure of interest in, and use of, our Services and our Site, such as overall patterns that do not describe or identify any individual user. We may disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our Services to current and prospective business partners, to show trends of the general use of our Services, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
Business Transfer: In the event Adtile should ever file for bankruptcy or have its assets sold to, merged with another entity or substantially all of our assets are acquired by one or more third parties as the result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization, consolidation, or liquidation, information we received from the Site or the Services provided is considered an asset of Adtile and may be transferred to any such entity.
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act imposes certain requirements on websites directed at children under 13 that collect information on those children, and on websites that knowingly collect information on children under 13. Our Site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under 13. If you are under 13, you should not register to become a member or provide any Personal Information through this Site. If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Adtile, please contact us at email@example.com, and we will use reasonable efforts to delete that information from our records.
